Five-Step Guides, Hello, Case-maker! Sessions + Sector-Sourced Examples

Make The Case is built to move people from awareness and analysis into action.

Our Five Steps to Make the Case guides are curated by a Working Group with insights from Subject Matter Experts, Learning + Development professionals, and Senior Research + Advocacy Advisors.

We invite you to share your sector examples in two ways:

  1. Skills that people use when advocating for the value of arts and culture
  2. Organizational initiatives in Canada that have already successfully advocated for investments in arts and culture

These contributions will help us to build our Five Steps series and our Case Bank (in consultation with the organizations involved).

Our Five Steps to Make the Case guides are informed by our Research Catalogue, Case Bank, Case Snapshots, and real-world examples. These sector-sourced insights highlight how individuals and organizations have successfully secured investments in arts and culture across Canada.

The Five Steps series is focused on advocacy skills that are tailored to Canadian economic, government, and regional/local contexts.

For those looking for a structured, efficient approach, our Hello, Case-maker! sessions provide a streamlined, action-oriented experience. In under an hour, participants use data and resources from this website to apply the Five Steps guides and drive impactful change.
